Diala Asmar
Administration and Venue Lead
Diala, a marketing graduate with a multicultural background, excels as an event professional, adept at orchestrating events of varying scales. Her expertise lies in logistics and staff management, essential for seamless event execution. With a passion for the intricacies of event planning, Diala seeks to further her understanding in the field and aims to establish herself within the sports industry. Enthusiastic about the execution process, she finds fulfillment in bringing events to life, from concept to completion. Diala's drive, coupled with her diverse skill set, positions her as a valuable asset in any event management endeavor, ready to tackle challenges and deliver exceptional results.
Madison Wall
Fundraising and Decor Lead
Madison Wall is a career driven and lively professional who is an Interior Decorating graduate. She has lived in Ottawa, Ontario her whole life. She has strong skills of creativity and organization. She is using her skills to create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. She decided to broaden her educational background and start the Event Managment program at Algonquin College. The two programs compliment one another greatly, as she can use her design skills in events. Madison really loves making people happy and wants her career to be focused on bringing peoples visions alive. She is beyond thrilled to start this new chapter of becoming an event proffesional.
Japnish Kaur
Communications and Logistic Lead
Japnish Kaur, she/her, is a dedicated law student with a passion for social justice. With a background in youth justice and interventions from Durham College Oshawa, she has honed her skills in working with vulnerable populations, including youth at risk and women fleeing human trafficking and abuse. A creative individual at heart, Japnish aspires to use her expertise in event management from Algonquin College to organize awareness conferences, events, and charity fundraisers to advocate for marginalized communities and bring about positive change.
Ishang Sorout
Volunteer and Marketing Lead
Ishang Sorout is a passionate student. He studied Hotel Management for three years at the Institute of Hotel Management and earned my bachelor's degree. After that, he completed a one-year PG Certification in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Niagara College. He is currently working on my PG in Event Management at Algonquin College. Outside of academics, he has a few hobbies. Ishang enjoy sketching, dancing, and playing soccer and volleyball. When it comes to his personality, he consider himself an explorer, observer, and learner. I'm always eager to explore new things, observe the world around me, and continue learning and growing.
Myrian de carvalho moura
Programming and HR Lead
Myrian is a post-graduate Human Resources and Translation professional with more than 10 years of international experience in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, which she has a great passion for. She performed in different areas in the industry, from Brand Ambassador to Guest Services Lead, onboard an international cruise company where she acquired expertise in staff management. Nowadays, she speaks 5 languages and has chosen Canada to be her home and to develop and improve in her career. She is studying Event Management at Algonquin College. Myrian aims to contribute to the market with her previous experience and develop and establish her career in the Events market, working in event planning, program management, logistics, marketing, and promotion in various areas from non-profit events to corporate. Myrian is ready for new challenges and exceeds the results.
