About DSyTC
The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (DSYTC) is a non-profit organization, established in 1993, deeply rooted in the Ontario community, committed to supporting youth and families. The organization helped hundreds of youth and families each year as a day treatment program and in 2010, was chosen to alter its mandate to deliver important residential and aftercare treatment services for youth and families across the province. DSYTC programming content was compiled with the aid of exhaustive research and expert consultation, and the chosen clinical approaches reflect up-to-date evidence-based practices, which are consistent with the goal of the DSYTC becoming a Centre of Excellence.
Mission
The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre's mission is to provide youth and families in need with integrated, evidence based addiction and mental health treatments, delivered by competent professionals within a caring and compassionate environment. Their goal is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can receive the care they require to overcome challenges and achieve lasting recovery and well-being.
